Help choosing a post workout shake please

I've been researching alot of post workout shakes and have narrowed it down to a couple. My workout goals are to increase strength while lowering bodyfat, I'm looking for lean mass gains. I'm also looking to just increase my daily protien intake in general. For anyone who has read my other thread you know I've been on a low calorie diet for the past year or so with the main desire being to just lose weight, which I've done. Now that I'm getting back into lifting weights I need to bring my protien intake way up but I want it to be quaity muscle I'm building, not just mass for the sake of mass.

So anyway heres the 2 products I've narrowed it down to, ON's After Max

Or, BSN's Lean Dessert Protien mix

Both seem like they'd be great to use, but I think I'm leaning towards the After Max as its got alot more vitamins, minerals and amino acids. But it also alot higher in calories. 3 scoops per serving totaling 370 calories, is this too much for my goals? Is the awnser as simple as using 2 scoops instead of 3?

I also intend on making shake in the morning either with breakfast or midmorning to help increase my genereal protien intake, are these products good to do that or should they be kept mainly for post workout? So let me know what you think if you would, and any other products you'd like to recommend is appriciated:)
 
The best 1 is the one that taste better to you ...Then you wont mind drinking it every few hours you will actaully look foward to it
 
Dude I make my own... Pretty simple.

16oz of milk
2 scoops of whey
4tbsp peanut butter
2 cups of ice cream (whatever flavor)
1 banana
2 cups straw berries
1 scoop of maltodextrin

You can make em outta whatever you want really depended on whether you're bulking or cutting...

2x scoops of whey, ~4tbsp peanut butter, whole milk, 1/2 cup oatmeal shredded in a coffee grinder, Hersey's syrup, liquid reeses
 
If you're trying to lose weight, why are you looking at weight gainers?
50g of ON Gold standard with 25g of dextrose. Done.

Because I want something for immediate post workout that will give my body/muscles everything they need(good carbs, vitamins,minerals, and amino acids) during that critical post workout time frame. And correct me if i'm wrong but just a simple protein shake wont provide all that...

I like 60g whey + 2 big scoops waxy maize.

The waxy maize I just did searching on, looks very interesting. Mind if I ask what brand? The Dark Matter stuff looks pretty cool but also quite expensive, are they all basically the same? I did come across some much cheaper brands. Is that literally ALL you take immediatly post workout? I usually eat dinner bout an hour after working out and taking my supplement shake, just curious if theres any other supps to add into my post workout shake that would be beneficial, glutamine for instance?

I've been taking dark matter for 3 weeks now, just got another jug..... I've certainly noticed a difference w/ it.....yeah, its pricey but worth the money( you get what you pay for,atleast regarding dark matter IMO)......gnc runs their special discounts this week.....I got mine @ vit-shoppe for 42 bucks.....

Always change it up helps keep it from getting bored lol. I take myofusion or Mucle Pharms Combat and use the vanilla with key lime and graham crackers, or add a fruit yougurt and granola. The chocolate is my fav as I'll throw in 2tsp dark choc cocca powder, 1 tsp coffee, dark piece of choc, and some oats. Yum yum
