Ive read mutants protocol quite a few times.
First how long would you say your workouts are? If log has an active life of about 2 hours, and Mike Aronld's protocol is saying to pin 30 min preworkout. It just seems like you would want a bit more of an active life post workout,, but I do get the main theory of not letting your body break down and just building it. Mutants seems better, pinning it about 15 minutes preworkout, the insulin would be kicking in as soon as the workout starts.
Arnold's shakes have a ton of stuff in them, but there pretty low on whey isolate.. you would figure at least like 50g.
About an hour, sometimes a little over on a big back or leg day, usually a little less in general though. I pin all the peptide hormones I'm using (gh,slin,1,3 des, whatever) slam shake 1, and head to the gym, usually about 15-20 minutes away. Start sipping shake 2 after the first 1-2 big compound movement in my routine.
Yeah I have 25gm whey isolate in each shake. People don't think about it much, but protien "uses" up or covers some of that slin to a degree.
You're probably right about wanting some active after, even if your muscles are pretty full up. I think some of the bigger guys will either use both log and R pre to accomplish that, or of course just use more log after. But the biggies are using slin all day long....that's a different ball game.
Pumps on preworkout log are unreal...and I can't imagine what they'd be like with all that EQ and some orals on board.
