Great info, im cutting right now and much leaner then any pic of me on this forum...My brother gained 40lbs on his first test cycle of 300mgs a week...I know it was also some water and fat but he looked great!...And still does.its possible you're going to lean up on cycle anyway...you're in your 40's right?
being a chick I'm obviously more conservative but I believe in short esters, lower doses and minimal compounds for first cycles
and my thinking behind that is..if you have sides you have a minimal amount of culprits and you're least likely to have side effects
I also threw the other half up on a no no cycle for his first cycle that I would be happy to divulge in pm because I'll honestly get eaten alive for it in here for it..lol
however it was passed along to me by a close friend that was a pro for several years... and just absolutely effin beastly ( I rarely say that about anyone)

extra bf=lipids
lipids are the foundation of hormones
extra hormones= boobs and not the kind you want

basically anything over a trt dose you will have significant fat burning effects... IMO
