What do I replace peanut butter with? Looking ideally for something else that's calorie dense, doesn't require prep time and isn't too expensive.

Was thinking of just buying meats at the deli, but I feel like there must be other obvious food choices that I'm not thinking of.

Whole milk is easy to use in order to get calories down. You can also consume chicken drumsticks and thighs with skin. Peanuts or almonds are another idea if you are just sick of peanut butter. All of these options are low to moderate in cost. $2.49 for milk, $.99 a pound for chicken, and $3 to $5 per pounds of nuts.

try almond butter . . tastes devine!

Stick with the PB before you go with deli meats

Deli meats aren't healthy! Full of sat fats and preservatives!!!

But taste soooo good :(

Almond Butter?

I wish I had this problem. Some calorie dense foods: pasta, olive oil, whole eggs, salmon, bagels, avocado, whole eggs, bacon, pure fruit juice, coconut milk, potato salad, chili with beans, milk, cheese, trail mix.

Oh yeah! Made from.... You guessed it! Almonds!!! :daydream:

Good stuff great with shakes its a little pricy compared to PB

My shakes are 2 tbl spoons PB 1/2 cup uncooked oat meal flax seed oil and soymilk 2 frozen bannanas.

If its to get in your fat macros I would replace it with unsalted almonds.

Lots of great suggestions on here. I'll definately be trying a lot of the things mentioned on here.

Might even try learning how to cook chili since it doesn't look too complicated and looks like it can be refrigerated a couple days.

Activated almonds is all the rage in Milan!

Almond butter would be your best bet the only problem with this is that its super expensive. I would just add a drizzle of honey to the peanut butter and put it over some Ez bread for good carbs. that's what I use for my healthy snack but the honey gives it a great taste you can also add some berries to the bread(blueberries blackberries or strawberries)

I second, Almond Butter... Its a tad pricey... Picked up some yesterday,, for 9FRIGGIN bucks..... same size as a normal PB jar...
