It's all relative. I feel poor when I compare myself financially to the people I surround my self with but when I look around at other people I realize I don't have it that bad.

This is true. The median house price in my city is $500k for a 3x2. Living costs are generally expensive hence wages are proportionately higher.

Anywho, I earn a second income off the stock exchange, average around 25-30k gross but we have a capital gains tax that Jews a fair amount of profit off me. That's how ppl like Azza stays flush with benefit payments

people say Cali is expensive but you can get a place on the beach where I live for less than that condo/ townhomes, or a new home for around that. I got a pretty decent place a block from the beach, 4 bed 2 car garage, nothing to brag about but its really affordable.

Built a new home in sept of 2011. 3900sq ft under roof and 3300 heated. Slate and hardwood floors , granite countertops, custom cabinets built to my design. 2.5 acres of land.. Got less than 200 k in the whole deal.

I'm on salary at $87000 a year plus a new truck and extended benefits. It's good and bad because in my line of work when it's busy you are working 12-14 hrs easily sometimes longer. But it works out when I'm doing 4 hr days lol!

Life is a giant shit sandwich and everyday you have to take a bit bite out of it. However, the more bread you have the less shit you have to eat.

not as much as my son thinks i do apparently. his allowance is $100 n he just informed me this week he's gonna need $250. he does use it to buy his own toiletries n clothes etc n stuff for the girlfriend who is having a birthday but it's kinda tough sometimes on under $50,000 to always be generous. he did say he will pay me back and made a payment plan. he's getting her some crushed velvet doc martins. they are pretty sweet.

I was doing a Pharmacology program, different from pharmacy school. I would have worked on the research and development side of things and had to work for a cartel like Pfizer if I wanted to make any money. PA sounds good on paper, I just don't like having Assisstant in my job title. O well. ego issues.
