The only thing you have ever been right about concerning me is that I am dirt poor. No denying that shit, $10 an hour is poverty level poor, but it is my decision. I walked away from a life of comfort searching for some grand meaning and possibly even freedom. I found neither, and now I have to rebuild my life and career from damn near scratch. What I did had to be done, otherwise I would have spent the rest of my life day dreaming about some fantasy of the freedom of the open road and all that horse shit.

we used to play cowboys and indians and would hang my mothers teddy bear in a tree in the front yard. damned outlaw.

maybe it's more harmful to kids to not participate in this type of play where young kids learn clear lines between good guy and bad guy. we used to play so the cowboys chased the bad guy into indian territory and they'd help us track him.
