Try out archery even if it's never with the intention to hunt. I've never met someone who doesn't get addicted after shooting bows for a few months. Truly it's my happy place. I plan time off work around this time of year.

Very easy to process you're on.
I meat grinder doesn't cost that much but it has to be electric hand grinding sucks balls
You can get pork fat for your sausage and beef fat for your Hamburger course everything else is steak and roast. If anybody's reading this and is interested there's lots of videos online. I've got a whole freezer full

Jealous! Still have next weekend for archery here (weekend after is my son's bday party). If I cant seal the deal on Saturday, I'll go to my contingency plan of general rifle.
