For reference Im working my way up the starting strength program by mark riptoe, eating a lot (well too) and Im 6'5".
I know im small now but ive put on 20 lbs in 2 months so far (dont seem to be gaining fat but...
This isn't a bodybuilding question really. How long does fat take to get broken down and into your system?
I ate a weed cookie one day (it was wierd i wont do it again... i dont smoke either) but i was really suprised I could feel the effects after ~1 hr and they lasted for like 6 hrs...
so do i deal with visceral fat the same as normal fat?
and its always been like this a bit but its worse now
and to get better posture i just do planks and birddogs?
Hi there, my stomach sticks out but i think i have very little body fat... if i pinch my stomach I can barely grab anything (calipers would say less than a cm probably).
If i flex my stomach it is pretty defined but when its not flex it definitely isn't flat.
What is the issue here? and what...
Power bars and the like seem very sugary, all full of chocolate and honey. Is this really nessassary if im not like post 1/2 marathon?
I would like to keep myself full of food for long tournament days lets say 8 hours of work with tonnes of tiny breaks. How should I go about feeding myself...

Free weights
A bench (just a bench not a bench press)
Declined board for workouts
A barbell with maximum 100lbs
A machine benchpress (which I might be able to use for rows)
Lat pulldown machine
Pec Fly machine
Leg extender (quads)
Leg curls (hams)

my goals are to get add some strength to myself but I dont want to bulk.
I guess my goals are to gain muscle withing gaining fat (which i cant do so lets say I will err on the side of getting fat and having muscle)
Hi I bike 2hours a day, spend 10 minutes in the gym and do martial arts daily. Right now I am eating 4k calories of 40/40/20 (C/P/F) (maybe more like 50/30/20) and aiming for maintenance.
I eat very well and know much of this nutrition stuff discussed here.

how equivalent is doing hill sets on a bike to a quad based exercise ie/ leg press? (even though I like squats way better)
I know if you do low reps on a leg press its much more short term mitochondria depleted muscle and you get big muscles... but can you still get big legs by doing hills? or...
