    Working with a trainer

I started working witha trainer about a month ago. I joined a gym that is 3 miles from my house so getting there is easy. This guy is pretty tough! This mornings workout consisted of deadlifts, seated rows, over head shoulder press, calf curls, and intervals in a bike at max resistance. He...

    Putting on Size???

I thought that if I decreased the fat some (I was eating like 40-50%) it would aid in getting better forms of calories into my diet. I still enjoy the occasional BBQ chips but I am eating far less of these types of foods than in the past. I have a way to go to get fit but I am trying too.

    Putting on Size???

I was at 30% when I started guys so I am making some progress. I will continue to lift and do the cardio intervals along with low fat intake and high protein until I shed some more fat then I will do the bulking.

Another half inch of belly gone!!

I think my wife likes the fact that the belly is going away and that is motivation enough for me to continue to train and eat right.

Another half inch of belly gone!!

I measure every other tuesday and weigh in downstairs :) This week is encouraging! I have shed another half an inch from my waist and am down to 183.5. My wife said she can tell that my shape is starting to taper as well. This is good to hear especially when I was simply fat all over before...

    Up and down with weight

Thanks Built!! I will start eating more for sure then. I am tracking it diligently and learning to make better choices. I know that I have been feeling pretty hungry too. So could I be in a mode where my body is slowing down its metabolism due to decreased caloric intake and this would be...

    Up and down with weight

Also based on my BAsal rate I need 3000 calories a day to stay at my current weight (this is per fit day). I am eating about 1200 calories less a day on average. I think to burn more fat off I may need to up the cardio a bit. I have the belly fat that I want gone (or seriosly depleted) by August.
