I think some of what he says definitley makes sense. What he says about bars being straight and not built for a normal arm position seems like a good point.
A V squat is a machine that is the same as a squat, yet your back is flat against a back rest. Usually you can do more weight then on a normal squat. I'm guessing you probably don't have access to one though. :confused:
Depending on how sore it is, maybe a v-squat? My back is iffy sometimes and I like to use that if it's feeling wierd. It seems to give me more support.
If your doing, for example, a chest workout -
Doing 3x8 and then moving on to triceps or something else won't work. If you also are doing 3x8 of incline, decline, flies of some sort, other chest-related exercises, then 3x8 of each should be fine.
From what I've read, Dextrose seems to be the best thing to eat post-workout. I'll probably get some soon, but in the meantime, what is a good substitute? I was guessing just some basic fruit? Thanks in advance.
