man i blew out both my knees playing football. i try to just stick with the leg press machine and hac squats and try to stay away from squats. squats hurt the hell out of my knees man. and if i do squat i wont go over 250.
man dont worry about rest in between sets you do that anyway don't limit yourself to just 2 mins sometimes heavier lifts require more rest, just focuse more on getting your sets in and gettin swelled.
man soreness is good it means you really worked that muscle group hard man. i stay sore for long peroids of time too arfter a hard workout. i suggest maybe taking some creatine to speed up your recovery time, and if you have access to an ice bath those also work great.
