What'ch gonna do when the 26" pythons and all the hulk-a-maniacs run wild on you?

I have not watched wrestling for years but I think back in the 80's he claimed them to be 26". But that was a long time ago and I might be wrong.
weight 185-190, 6'-0" tall
Arms 16" exact. Curls 95 4-6 reps.
About 6 months ago they were 14" doing DB culrs with 20 lbs, so I am happy with that progress.
Also good to have something to work towards.:thumb:
I seem to have a better WO when lifting after work or in the afternoon after I have had some food. I feel alot weaker in the morning when I try to lift. It might all be in my head, I don't know?? Anyway, I have better workouts when I lift at night which is 99% of the time.
I have been doing 3 sets of close grip bench, and either 3 sets pushdowns, or 3 sets french press. Simple, yet effective for me so far.
Hey scotty, What are reverse grip push downs? Do you grab the bar from underneath, with palms facing up?
24, and still am. I started seeing visual results after a couple months. I wish I would have started sooner, but hope I am still going 50 years from now.
I would say that an all around workout program should help. Definately doing some leg work, squats, leg curls. Also having a strong upper body could not hurt either, it might help you have more control over the bike in rougher terrain. I had a couple friends in college that were wrestlers...
I recently tried doing military press with some back support. I usually did them sitting on a flat bench facing the opposite way you would when benching. But when I tried it using a incline bench about 10 to 15 degrees off straight up and down I was able to lift a good bit of extra pounds...
I do a 2 day split twice a week now. I think I may be lifting to much, so I am going to start the IM 3 day split in a couple weeks. It looks like a good system.
This sounds identical to what I am doing now. I will just start out heavier with the weight since I have not had much trouble finishing my sets. Just wanted to make sure I was on the right track.
Thanks for the quick responces :thumb:
What does any one feel is the best way to add muscle by doing squats? Using lower weight, higher reps 12-15 range, or a higher weight/ low reps 4-6 range. I feel I have my form good enough now to try some heavier weight. Or is this something that will vary from person to person? Keep in...
I have lost about 15 pounds since I started lifting. I keep getting stronger and have gone from 36 waist to a 34. So I have had to added some muscle weight right?? Anyone else out there had any results like this??
RB,
I am similar in weight 185 but a little taller 6'. I use 100 lbs for military 8-10 reps free weight, and pyramid up to 110. DB's is similar, 45's to 55's. Side lat. raises I use 20 lbs Db's 10 reps. I feel my shoulder are a weak link also but I am slowly making progress.
I have noticed...
Damn, 110 lbs dumbells, I am impressed. After a set of 6 with 45's I feel like I am going to pass out. I have been doing 3 sets of flys after doing bench. I will stick with that and hopefully keep adding more weight.
Thanks for the advice
Do you think that flys lying down flat/incline or decline are good for adding mass to your chest? I just started doing flys a few weeks ago ( I thought I was doing them all along but I was actually doing dumbell presses), After doing flys my chest got sore, instead of just a tired feeling that...
I am sure you can find some help here. Try to be more specific on your fitness goals. Do you want to just lose some weight or do you want to pack on more muscle and become leaner? Also on over training, it would depend on what kind of upper and lower body training you are doing, how many...
