My advice is to choose one goal ( to build muscle OR to lose fat ), as aiming for both goals may have you not moving much if anything in either direction. It would be far more effective gearing your diet for one particular goal.
Protein is probably a bit low but you don't need a gram per each of those 100+ pounds of fat either.
Maybe a gram per pound of lean weight or target weight.

Diet pills still work if this is really your preference BUT do not depend wholly on it. You still need more exercise and proper diet. On the other hand, diet pills are just 'supplements' for your weight loss. You can take them moderately but again prioritize proper exercise and diet.

Personally I think the whole eating around workouts thing is horribly overrated for most of us. Eat well, exercise well, If you bonk during exercise add some carbs before(don't overdo it)
