Unless you know how many calories your body needs to maintain it's current weight and your body fat percentage then you are just stumbling around in the dark... start there and deduct 300-400 calories a day and adjust from there.

Its pretty simple: if you cant get your required protein amount from real food then supplement. However, if you cant meet your needs through real foods then I would be interested in seeing your diet.
Dont make excuses... education is the other variable. You cant blame others for your lack of it. Get a goal defined and dont let anything stop you from achieving it.
