Is anyone good at doing this? Is there some particular things to look for, for several different levels?
My problem is that I test my body fat percentage every week or two. It always goes down. I hear people saying that they want to get down to 15% so they look good at the beach!!
I'm thinking...
I've decided to write this journal to keep me motivated and on the right track. I've found that within the past 4 months it has not been that difficult to get in all my workouts. I'll get them in unless i'm half dead.
I've had great results so far. Back in 2000 or so I was sitting all day in a...
Losing bodyfat and gaining muscle is tough it seems. What i've been doing lately is just free weights, upgrading from a Crossbar. I usually work out for an hour every other day and use heavy weights until I can't lift any more. I alternate between my upper and lower body.
My diet is fine, but...
I've always used Bowflex type machines. When I was 90lbs overweight I had used the Bowflex and went from 287lbs to 197lbs. The Bowflex is a good machine. Anything is better than nothing. The thing is, is that obviously for me it's only really good for losing body fat. I didn't gain any very...

I just moved into a new apartment a week ago. A year and a half ago I was 287lbs and bought the Bowflex and went down to 196lbs. Sure it's good for losing weight but not gaining muscle. I never ever regret paying the $999 for it.
I lost my job and had to sell my bowflex. Things got worse and I...
Well first off, i've posted here about a year ago. To start I'm 24 and once got up to about 287lbs at 6'4". I wore size 46-48 pants and probably a 3x shirt. Clothes shopping just wasn't any fun at all.
Got my father's inheritence at 21 and decided to take my first real vacation. Went all the...
Went from about 287lbs at 6'5" down to about 196lbs.
Have been wanting to lose the weight ever since I was young but just didn't know how to start. I guess I never even bothered to LEARN how.
Anyway, my job consisted of sitting on my butt all day for 4 years. That didn't help and I would...
