    Tricep Q

    Just wondering what exercise is best for building whatever that muscle is to the rear of the tricep... ( or is that just part of the tricep ? ) you know how some ppl have that main tricep muscle built up... but others will have the rear portion built up aswell giving them that 'horse shoe'...

    Confused... reps for max growth ?

    I keep reading conflicting things.... some say you should reach muscle failure at 6-8 reps... some say 10-12 for max growth. Whats the truth ? thnx... I know... another newb Q :nerd:

    Hammer Strength Machines...

    I love the Hammer machines on chest day. There is 5 of them in a row at the gym , all of which hit the chest at diff angles. I usually do 2 sets on each, then do the cables in a fly motion to finish. But I'm wondering... should I do 2 or three diff. hammer machines one week, then the others...

    Another cardio question

    Please excuse the newb qs... After I do cardio it,s usually late at night. I'm starving afterwards.... should I eat, or would that negate the work I just did burning calories ? If so, what would you recommend seeing how it is usually like 10 at night ? thnx !

    Losing weight too fast ?

    I've read in many places that one should aim to lose between 1/2-1 lb per week. I've lost 10 lbs in 17 days ( started working out on the 1st, after years of sitting on the couch...) I mean, I'm not complaining, but could I really tax my body at this rate ? I weight train about every other day...

    Shoulder injury during flat bench...

    I injured my shoulder last Sat. doing flat bench. My brother says it looked like I was bringing the bar down around my collar bone, and should have been bringing the bar down around the bottom of my pecs. So anyway... How do I go about working around this ? And how do I avoid it in the future...

    Losing fat / gaining muscle (help)

    Ok, I'm 6'1" 227 lbs. at least 35 pounds of my weight is fat. I want to drop weight to around 190-200 and be ripped when I get there. Problem is I'm finding out losing fat and gaining muscle t the same time may not be possible... at least that's what I was told. So, I need to know... is weight...

    Hey all...

    Glad to be a part of the forum... Im 35, 6' 1" and 227 lb. At least 40 lb of that is fat. My goal is to get down around 190-200 or so... and ripped. I have'nt worked out in 10 years, so I hope to gain alot of knowledge from you all. Anyway, see you in the boards...
