    Overtraining.. via work

    i have the same problem. i work for the phone company, so all day i'm out climbing poles and carrying tools and equipment, etc. my training has really suffered because of it. i can't really follow a set routine anymore, i just kinda go to the gym whenever i feel up to it.

    thanks for the advice CowPimp. i'll take it into consideration. i think for the cheast/shoulder day, i'm just going to get rid of the lateral raises all together and replace it with some overhead DB press.

    whats hard to understand? it tells you all about Westside. it even gives you a sample program about 2/3 of the way down the page. some of the exercises it has in it i had never heard of before. you just have to look them up somewhere to figure them out.

    pull-ups, try all different grips. i think palms facing you with a shoulder width grip would be the best in your case.
