Ill be doing 4 sets of Deadlifts on leg day, my only goal is strength I do not care about size- how many reps should I be doing for deads??

What main muscles would be used, if you are doing a stiff-arm pull down to your sides- kind of the opposite of a lateral raise, are the lats hit hard in this movement?

Taken from Cowpimp's "Warmup Thread"

Specific on Leg Day:
Deadlift 1RM Attempt
95 x 5 No rest
135 x 3, No rest
185 x 3, No rest
225 x 1, 30s rest
255 x 1, 60s rest
285 x 1, 60s rest
305 x 1, Full Recovery
1RM Attempt:
325 x 1

1-5

Well, assuming that you have been lifting long enough, you have accumulated a decent amount of muscle mass, your connective tissue strength is up to par (Related to training age and proper acclimation), and you are confident on your form, 1-5 repetitions is primarily for strength gains.

Also, lateral lat pulldowns are a great way to hit the lats.

theres oonly like 2 exercise i do on that piece of crap, lol
