2005 mustang

I'm considering buying a 05 mustang, but would lose a lot of money on my 03 trailblazer, which I have 3 years left to pay for. :(

I'm leasing from now on.

Is there any sound sweeter than a Ford V-8; a set of Headers and performance exhaust??

never buy the first year of a new model car (unless it is german or italian made)...

Yup, I was talking about the deep distinctive exhaust note of a Ford V-8; IMO there is nothing like it. I was not talking about horsepower.

Mopar..LOL

Well obviously, but this is not just your standard v-8 Ford. Shit, I have one of those, with a K&N FIPK, JBA ceramic shorty headers, tips, Flowmaster American Thunder System, lowered on an Eibach Sportline kit, etc. My dad's Shelby isn't street legal by today's standards, by any means.

A woman that knows cars ... are you married? :D

very cool but I think I'm going with the '70 Boss.

The 'stang GT sounds looks very nice, V8 and 300 horses.

Excuse me..

Well I had a 88 Mustang LX hatchback; Cobra powered and way to0 many goodies to list here.

Ohh, and my dad didn't own it.:cheeky:

Ive had two mustangs. In 1974 I found a '66 mustang on a used car lot with 30,000 miles on it and in "tits" condition. Not a race car but it had a 289 V-8, ponycar interior, and was an original powder blue. Chicks loved it and back then I was limber enough to do the nasty in the rear of a sports car.

In '85 I bought a brand new GT. I'd buy another mustang in a heartbeat :thumb: ..................Rich

If you build it, they will come!

Wuu wuu, chicks still love those cars. Do you have a pic of the powder blue one?

I think they're hideous, but I am an import fan.

I am currently saving my $$$ for a new 'used' Stang. There is nothing like 'blowing the doors' off of one of those shinny new ugly ass imports.

Yeah, somewhere around here. Unfortunately its a pic of the car after I ran it into a tree at 60 mph, splitting it into two cars, while drag racing :( . But I had two summers with that car and just loved it. Back then we didn't even have regular cassette tapes. We only had "8-track" cassettes, they were about twice the size of a wallet, and you put them into the player front first hoping the player wouldn't eat them. I can still remember playing my 8-tracks in that car.

I wish some of you youngins could experience what growing of age in the 70's was like. Cruising all night in your muscle car or your motorcycle, drinking and smoking all the shit you wanted with no fear of anything. All the cheap sex with nameless partners you wanted. There was no AIDS, no pee tests, no video cameras, nobody gave a shit about money, going to concerts that would blow your mind, "course it was blown already". Acts like Pink Floyd, Zep, the Stones, Zappa, hell I remember the Beatles coming into town.

And most of all there were the cars. We had a spot for drag racing the cops would leave alone. Hell 1/2 the guys racing were cops. It was just a semi-legal street party with racing every night and muscle cars of every type out the ass. I also had a 66 chevy big block I use to run and all my friends had race cars. Actually I had a lot of fast cars as a kid. I never took many pictures because who thought at the time it would all end?

But I do remember my pony-car like it was yesterday.............................Rich
