I'm 23, 5"11 - 140lbs .. I been skinny all my life, only time I gained weight was when I went on a ridiculous GOMAD diet (gallon of milk a day) I gained 25lbs of fat in 3 weeks. It was cool, but it made me fart during sex. I'm on creatine and whey protein now. I'm pretty ripped, I just cant get fat on my body worth of shit, feel like I can only gain mass with muscle, but it'll probably take me 3 years to gain 20lbs of muscle. My goal is to be 160lbs. I talked to a steroid user the other night, he's tried dynabolt and testosterone twice, and recommended that I take steroids (dynabolt) if I want to gain mass. So my question is, what would be the best option for me? Don't tell me to eat like a pig, I've tried this, I end up having to work/focus my entire day around food, which is expensive, and energy draining. Would testosterone or steroids be a good route to gain weight? If so, can I get it on a reliable website?

Thanks guys.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but, even with steroids you have to eat like a pig to gain. Steroids do not gain the weight for you. Your "steroid user" buddy is a retard. YOU MUST EAT BIG TO GET BIG, PERIOD. There's no way around it unfortunately. Your body cannot and will not grow without nutrients and enough of them to sustain muscle growth. Testosterone promotes greater protein synthesist, but you have to give it the nutrients to use. You have to eat beyond a maintenance calorie dose. Without doing so the steroids will only help maintain the muscle while you're burning the body fat on a caloric deficit. Sure you might gain a few pounds and some strength from the cycle but if you don't know how to naturally put on the weight or eat enough to maintain the weight, you'll loose it all and be right back where you are. You're as skinny as you are because you don't know how to eat. What I mean by that is, you don't know what foods to eat and how to ingest them during the day. It can be expensive yes. You don't want to know my monthly food bill for me and my wife to have the physiques we do. I'm constantly eating. I'm 5'6" 173lb 8%bf. I didn't get this way by not eating sufficiently or properly and instead just taking steroids. I wish it was that easy. But unfortunately it takes hard fucking work inside the kitchen and inside the gym. The steroids are just an added bonus to push me over the edge. I was a hard gainer myself but then I realized I needed to eat like a mother fucker to grow. And guess what? My theory was right.

I appreciate the quick response, I've been eating a shit ton of brown rice lately, are there any other foods you suggest I eat more of? I think I can manage with 3-4 meals a day, so they'd need a concentrated amount of calories. I guess I'll cut the gluten free diet I was on, I'm a health nut, who's also willing to gain a few unhealthy pounds, but I won't resort to eating junk/fast food (in-n-out, mcdonalds, etc.)

Yep stay away from junk.

Oats-brown rice - sweet potato
Salmon-steak-lean pork, buffalo
Plenty of veg, advocdo, nuts and seeds

Stay clear of breads, too much dairy, limit fruit. Bump your cals between meals with shakes and homemade gainers.

I eat gluten free and have no problem downing 4000-5000 calories a day if I need to. I stay away from bread, and pastas and anything with wheat.
On the other hand rice, patatoes, quinoa, lots of fruit, vegetables, meats, dairy, (I add in there whole milk if I need extra calories), maltodextrin/protein shakes with milk, healthy fats, lots of whole eggs, yogurt, nuts seeds. It's easier to down 5000caloris a day when you know what to eat. I cant say it would be cheap but if you buy bulk like in the case with rice, eggs etc it's manageable. I also cook my meals which helps and I can control amount of calories that goes in them.

Eating a proper diet isn't as hard or expensive as you think, its certainly cheaper and its easier to do research on then doing a cycle. I feel you about the weight tho im 5'5 and was 145 but shredded and it was impossible to put on clean muscle all i did was put on fat so after a little while of research and trial and error i found what worked and now im 170. since i have a diet laid out that's working now i can consider using to help on top of proper nutrition. So to help get you started, go to http://www.ironmagazineforums.com/diet-nutrition/21113-guide-cutting-bulking-maintenance.html and that will give you a list of the foods you need to eat, when to eat, and different types of diets that you can try. after you have that info go to IIFYM Calculator type in your age, height, and weight and that will tell you how much calories you need to be eating to bulk, then go to Free Calorie Counter, Diet & Exercise Journal | MyFitnessPal.com and start a log of the food you eat and if you do that daily and keep it consistent youLL start to put on weight in no time. i hope this helps, you wont find any other info better then that, i laid out a lot for you, if you have any questions or need anything feel free to pm me and ill be willing to help out more but only if your willing to do the work, i promise there is no short cuts! if you don't feel like doing what is required you will not grow!

LOL @ 21lbs of fat in 3 weeks

145 you should not be thinking about gear period. GO spend the money you would have on gear and hire a nutritionist that knows bodybuilding. Your problem is your diet.

Best advice ^^^^

Muscle Gelz Transdermals
IronMag Labs Prohormones
I wouldn't even do that. It should be pretty easy get to 180 lean without a nutritionist or gear

Unless u have crohns or some other type illness which makes eating difficult I'd stay away from gear for a bit
