Looking at the size of these two pins, and putting a 27g on a 3cc syringe which is much thicker than a slin pusher, which reduces effective PSI - makes it seem that oil going through it would be an iffy proposition.

I used a 27g 1/2" on a Terumo pusher today and pushed in 3cc just fine, took about one minute. You do have to impart a pretty fair load pressure wise but it was not impossible at all, you definitely want to hit a spot that you have good access too, otherwise you wont be able to use enough force. The BD pusher is not as strong where it needs to be so I dont think you would have alot of success using BD when injecting more than 1.5cc or so when using a 27g, if one were so interested in trying it.

So anyhow that was my little experiment of the day, it would make ED injections much more liveable I think. Big drawback is that its only 1/2", although with force I'm sure 5/8" effective is about right.

Can't you attach a 1 inch or even 1.5 inch spike onto the end??
Or that's how they come-with the half?

I have only found them in .5" otherwise I would have gotten longer. I have bent on more than one occasion a 25g 1.5" so a 27g 1" or greater would be pretty risky.

Right, looks like 1/2's only.
What is the best gauge for HCG, they come in 27, 28 or 29's?

Refering to insulin pins o'course.

For a true slin pin (not a removable pin like I have) since its water based you can use anything that you want really. To give you an idea, it will drip out of a 25g pin by itself if you turn it over, so there would be no problem pushing this through a much thinner pin, especially if I can push oil out of a 27g and not even in a slin pin which allows much higher PSI due to the decreased surface area (think diameter - like your brake lines, 3/16" etc).

I ordered the 28's, they should be fine, thanks.

For subcutaneous injections you probably want smaller anywho, sounds good.

yeah, 29 was the smallest, but wasn't sure how sturdy they might be. I tolerate injections and pain pretty well (was using 18's for intramusc., till I got some 25's) so figure these should be good. Thanks Mudge.

They will be amazingly thin, but they are so short that they will do just fine - especially doing a water based injection.

What the hell does that do? Why don't you just take it orally?

You ask a million questions. Nothing wrong with that, but if you read and research a little, you will find all your answers and you won't forget:D

This way it actually makes it into the body in quanity. One issue with B vitamins is water soluability, they dont last long.

Oh alright, Thanks.
