I found this on another board, I'm going to start doing this on my lunch breaks at work or on days I dont have that much time for the gym.

If you try this out post and let us know how it went.

whats the aim?? Doesn't look like it will build much muscle looks more like a cardio gimmick to me

From what I've gotten from it, it seems to be good when wanting to recomp. Ever done cross fit?

in the time it takes to complete all that, it seems like could complete a more effective routine

Possibly, but I like it as something fun to mix up my routines

I'm also not looking to get any bigger just recomp so this workout will be fun and work for my interests

If you want to recomp then why not follow something like UD 2.0, a proven recomp diet/training method.

All of these 300 workouts are just gimmicks that don't really accomplish anything and are just ego workouts basically.

From what I recall the '300' workout is not a workout at all....it's a test, a benchmark. It's a one time thing....it's not meant to be done all the time.

The second misconception surrounds the idea of the Spartan workout, aka “300”, how frequently it was done or who actually finished it. “300” is a one-time test, an invitation-only challenge undertaken by those deemed ready for it. By the end of our four-month project 17 people had done the workout (Logan and I were two of them). This constitutes about 50% of the cast and stunt crew. We supervised every test, evaluated each rep for quality and only counted those that achieved our standards for form and range of motion. Like many workouts “300” is not hard once you've done it but the apprehension built up ahead of it – something we encouraged – was enough to make some guys fear it to the degree that performance was compromised. This workout was a crucible that some passed through and others still have hanging over them.

If you do it on your lunch break, when do you eat?

Great post, I bring a lunch and eat during work (I love my job) then on lunch muscle milk and I eat again later on with another home prepared lunch.
