5'11 205 and stuck at 12% bf....want to cut to 7%

Hey everyone! Im 5'11 205 pounds and am stuck at 12% bodyfat. I have been bulking all winter and want to get down to around 7%. Does anyone know how much weight I would be at 7%? I really dont want to dip below 195. Also is 45 min on the elliptical 5 days a week at moderate intensity too much if I dont want to lose muscle?

well you have 24.6 pounds of fat now... 12% of 205... so if want to be about the same size at 7% so... 12/24.6 = 7/x and x would = 14.35 so 24.6-14.35= 10.25... so 195 is pretty accurate to be around 7 percent give or take a few pounds because will lose a lil muscle... happy cutting ! plus the leaner u get the bigger u look... i look way bigger at 178 ripped then i do 190 soft
 
Need to know more info - what's your current diet in detail please, e.g.

Meal 1: 8 am
1/2 c oats
2 whole eggs + 3 egg whites

Meal 2: 11 am
4 oz chicken
4 oz yam

etc.

Also please put into a food counts program like FitDay - Free Weight Loss and Diet Journal to post up the total calories & macronutrient breakdown (%, grams protein, fats, carbs).

Also what is your current training program & cardio?

Diet is always your niumber one driver, everything else next.

Doing a cut you're going to give up some muscle, but if you do slow & in an organized manner, you can minimize the muscle loss.
 
I lift 5 days a week pretty heavy.
Meal 1 8am: blueberry bagel, 1 cup oatmeal
Meal 2 11am: protein shake with 40 grams weigh isolate
Meal 3 1pm: 10 oz grilled chicken breast 1 serving of spinach
Meal 4 4pm: protein bar
Meal 5 7pm: 12 oz steak 3 days per week or 12 oz chicken breast 1 serving of pasta 2 servings of broccoli.

2 miles on elliptical 4 days a week....takes 20 min on Friday I bike 5 miles and 2 miles on elliptical that takes about 45 min.
