It has been about 8 weeks since I started the Bill Starr's 5X5 for intermediates and HIIT cardio (30 sec med pace 30 sec flat out repeat for 20 min) on the 3 none weight training days.
The routine consist of 5 main exercises Squats, deads, bent rows, mil press and bench press and a few little bits added each day to keep me happy.
So far so good, achieving PB's and gaining muscle on 5X5 as for my weight it has not changed although I have lost body fat.
If anybody can recall I did the Body for life program for just less than 2 years then took a short time off. The next cycle of my training started with a full body 20 rep range program as my 1st phase, Bill Starr 5X5 as my second phase and now I am looking for a third phase routine, would anybody like to recommend/advise a program that could compliment my previous training programs.
