Today I did a really grueling leg workout (for me anyway) and I swear I felt like throwing up. It seemed to get worse as time went on. Is that normal?

Yes it's normal. Has happend to me many times.

If you eat soemthing right before your workout and have little rest between your sets it's a very common reaction :barf:

It's never happened to me, but I have definitely heard of it happening to a lot of other people on these forums.

I don't know why it happens, I just know that it's a pretty common reaction for many (including me)

Probably has something do with with blood glucose levels

Thanks guys, I was a bit worried. I'm not prone to throwing up, so it was very unusual.

BTW Duncans Donuts, the Nutrient Timing book is great. Not only does it teach about nutrient timing, it covers a lot of the basic (ATP and such) that a beginner like me needs to know.

Yeah

It's a great reference book in terms of it's pointedness and simplicity.

Mike, does that nutrient timing book have you eating 3 solid meals with snacks, or smaller meals?

I know about the anabolic window 3 hrs after wkout already.... just curious

haha feeling like you have to throw up after a certain workout is very common for ppl on this board IMO, i no after my leg workouts i have to take a breather for a few before i go onto the next exercise, only happens to me on legs tho
