I thought I'd kill two questions off rather than make two seperate posts. I was reading the sticky at the top of the page on how to put on mass and such and just had a small inquiry on the idea of resting up muscles to let them grow. I know the idea is mostly a good nights sleep, but can this be considered something not overly exerting like reading, a movie, playing a game? It's probably just self made worry and stress/anxiety if anyone understands, that you should be always doing something to keep getting in shape.

The other question was, I noticed with the majority of other guys have a visible nipple or whatever, pointed or whatever? Odd sounding yeah...anyways, ever since I was younger and gained alot of excess made from medical reasons I store fat in my lower chest and the nipple is quite "puffy?", the upper part of my pec is quite muscular and normal but as it goes lower theres less muscle (can feel when I flex, the muscle kinds of tapers off about 8 inches down from my collarbone and the inner and lower outer) so around the nipple points out and has the "puffy" kind of look. Anyways, as, stupid as hell as that may sound it's a big concern and maybe someone else has had this or has an idea? I know it's not that medical problem some men get with breast development, asked a doc that, probably just excess fat and good diet will trim it off. I've just lost a hell off a lot of weight and put on a lot of muscle and it is still there in noticeable way.

So yeah, thanks for any help for two pretty goofy questions, but everyone seems pretty bloody nice around here so :) Thought I'd ask. Thanks again.

the my nipple is puffy too, how do i know whether it's gyno or fat(i'm fat)..?

Your first question. NO, reading, watching t.v etc.. are not equivalent to sleep. My understanding, is that the muscle does most of the repairing in the REM part of sleep

Two. Not positive about the gyno issue, but I think dropping BF and increasing LBM may help out a lot however it wont completely get rid of it. I think theres surgery for severe cases. Get it diagnosed properly to see if it really is gyno...

Well I know its not gyno (Thanks for reminding me of the name by the way), I thought it may be a cause of the medicine that cause my weight gain cause breast development, but my doctor who is a bit of a bodybuilder told me there was no need to worry, he said it should would eventually wear away, I just wonder if there are different ways to maybe elongate the muscle to or build it up to help reduce the effect as you try to cut off excess bodyfat and wait till it starts coming off the chest.

When it comes to not training then, outside of school are there other things to do or is it alright to break sometimes? Also just editing this in, I didn't mean it so much as an equivalent to sleep, just it doesn't cause so much of a loss of muscle or hurt trying to get in shape if you sit and watch a flick or play a game later at night or something? Thanks
