:hmmm: I have no idea what you are asking here??

If you want to get bigger muscles then you are going to have to eat more food so your body has more energy. This is how you grow.

If you want to significant amounts of bodyfat so your abs show, then you will have to eat less than maintainance, as this is how your body loses fat.

If you are only really new to lifting, or if you have a pretty high BF%, then you can be lucky enough to achieve both... but this will stall once you hit a low BF% and you will have to make a decision either way.

So:
Eat more = get big
Eat less = lose fat

But either way, you should still eat healthy foods. ;)

mmmmm

iwould like to add more muscle. but the prblem is the fat, now iám 15 % bf. if i change the diet. i ll put fat, and my muscle be cover with fat.

.
thanks:confused:

Just only eat a tiny bit over maintenance. If you eat 5% or so beyond maintenance calories then fat gains should be minimal. Do some light/moderate cardio 2-3 days per week even while you bulk to add some additional insurance against excessive fat gains.

If you are at 15% then I would consider sticking with cutting until you get down to about 12% or less. At 15% your BF% is pretty high for bulking and you will put on more fat that would be ideal.

But, as cow said, if you do what to go ahead with it, then simply eat a lower amount above maintainence - you will only get small gains, but you will be less likely to put on fat as well.

Emma have u ever seen my lastest pic.

to me decrease until 12 % its a challenge and dangerous.:hmmm:
but thanks for reply me

www.nutridiary.com or www.fitday.com will help. Just plug in a week or 2 of your meals now (assuming that is maintenance). Then average out the total cals you are eating to get a sense of how many cals is maintenance.

multiply by 0.05

so for example....

say you were at 2000 cal * 0.05 means 100 extra cals (that's not really alot....like an extra 1/2 cup of brown rice but it gives you an idea).

I just checked your gallery...

So why is it dangerous for you to decrease to 12%?

I never said anything about 'low cal'.

If you were weak and shaking then you obviously were not eating correctly.

thanks alot,

Multiply your maintenance calories by 1.05. That is 5% beyond maintenance. If you don't know your maintenance calories, then you better start keeping track of what you eat and figure it out.

yyyyy

Those formula are inaccurate at the best of time. You are better off calculating it from what you eat over a few weeks.

hi bro, no exactly, do you might give to me a example.
thanks:thumb:

i'd rather be lean with great abs than have big muscles and a bit of a gut, i got pretty bulky after my dbol cycle (added 2 stone in 5 weeks!) and although i was getting lots of comments on how great i looked it just didn't feel right... something was missing... my abs and cuts! :sob: so i've dropped all the fat but also ALL the muscle (and some..) that i put on from that cycle which really sucks! but for some reason i feel a lot more comfortable because i'm lean and i have my abs back :)

now comes the hard bit... trying to get the shape back but keeping the abs ripped :hmmm:

I am curious... Why you are asking?
Would me not training every day alter the validity of the advice I give?

training everyday would lead to overtraining anyway ;)

ahhhhhhh
