I over hurd two people at the gym saying that your abs can be worked out every day, they don't need a break like other muscles do. Is this true or should you just do abs every other day?

Adamjs said:You need to do something weighted so you can progress and you need to rest. Doing the same thing every day for 10 reps will not do anything for you.
Most of your major exercises will work the abs - so direct ab work may not even be necessary for you depending on the rest of your routine.
