I got a 1450 on my SAT, didn't take the ACT.

I got like an 1190 on SAT, that was before they gave you idiots an extra 100 points because scores were too low. :p

Never took the ACT. My high school GPA was 2.6 or some shit. College, I got all A's from junior year thru Master's. But those are crappy stats.

Of the classes I had...

I showed up to 80% or less every year. The other 20% I was hungover or drunk or at a girls house.

I showed up to at least 1 of my classes intoxicated each semester.

The average length of my papers was 5 pages. I think the next closest person was like 12 pages.

I had a very nice tan.

And they wonder what is wrong with the youth of America.

Oh yeah, I would highly recommend going to school in Florida. I wouldn't recommend taking Aerospace Engineering, I did for the first 2 years and it didn't mesh with the social life. Let's just say the 2 years of straight A's only brought my GPA up to a 3.25.

:D

every chemistry after basic chemistry is a bitch. Overall, organic has been the most time consuming in terms of lab and studying.
damn dude you preferred p-chem over o-chem. i would rather jab hot needles under my finger nails before i would do p-chem again. o-chem was a breeze comparitively. scores: 30/1290/3.4 gococks is right on the ap classes though if your taking them to look good for college great, but they are not going to do you a lot of good once your in college.

my freshman year of college i was in a class of about 800 students. the professor had everyone hold up their hand that got above a 26 on the ACT everyones hand went up. he then counted up 27...28....29....30 all the way up to 36 having us put down our hands after our score was called out. most of the hands were still up after 28 and a considerable amount were still up after 30. we had 2 kids with perfect scores in that class. the point was once your in college everything starts over. its not like high school were you can breeze by because the stoners are bringing the class average down. you will start competing with people of your caliber or better consistently.

Both of my parents were High School dropouts, both of my parents owned their own businesses.

It's all relative and about how hard you work in life. :D

My dad's parents were a housecleaner and a gardener, yet they raised a son with an MBA and almost had a JD...(don't ask), a #1 in his class graduate from Harvard who received his Ph.d a year early (unheard of unless you are a shoo in) and is now a theoretical physicist, author, and professor, and another son who is a cardiologist (my dad).

My mom's parents were a seamstress (she speaks 3 languages: Korean, Japanese, and English and never went to high school) and a career Army man (I think only a highschool diploma or the equivalent). They raised a Pharm D. (my mom), a Ph.d in chemistry, and a nurse.

The only person to ever have shitty grades and still get into Yale with an SAT score of 1500 was Zach Morris, and that only made Jesse Spanno jealous, so Slater beat up Preppy to protect his momma, and Screech was still a douchebag.

HA HA !!! YEAAAHH thats some funny shit, I totally remember that...lol

I now know my calling. Solve the superstring theory. :D

What can I say, I prefer quarks to lewis dot structures. For some odd reason, I had to study the shit out of stuff like molecular orbitals and I could never completely establish a firm base, but I think pchem came a little easire because im pretty good at physics and math.

LOL. I dont really give a fuck where I go to college to be honest.

I'm in 9th grade, GPA of 4.5 this semester (so far). I took the SAT in 7th grade and got a 980 on it. I was sick when I took it though (flu).

I had a 4.0 and got a 1400 on the SAT. The SAT grade isn't very indicative of success or anything of that nature. Don't worry too much about it. I ran Cross Country and Indoor/Outdoor track each year (helped keep my metabolism nice and high) :D

As far as talking AP classes and placing out of classes, it can be very useful. I was able to get one semester ahead in both math (tested out of differental calc) and english. Through that I was able take some classes which were more interested and applicable to my major. Without placing out of those two classes, I would not be able to graduate with two degrees this May as I've taken around the maximum amount of credit hours almost every semester that I've been at school.

It can be a bad thing to place out of a class if you barely got by on the AP test, but if you know your stuff, it can be a great advantage. I wish I had taken AP History in HS so I could have skipped that in college. :D

that must be it. i hated physics. and the reason im no longer chem eng is because of the math

wooooo, chemical engineering? you got some testicular fortitude. That shit is spanish to me.

got through my junior year before i said this just isnt worth it to me. i deffinitly dont want to do this the rest of my life. truthfully it was the thermodynamics class that did me in. kind of a lot like p-chem, go figure.
