Both. Lower the dose. Then quit being a bitch and tuff it out. If that's you in the picture, leg work and some cardio would get you looking ripped. You're close. You just need to push yourself over that uncomfortable line. Then enjoy the results.



That is me in the pic and I'm in pretty good shape I just don't bost or brag, there's always someone bigger. I have a ok diet that I can actually live with. I train 3-6 times a week when cruising and while blasting I'm in the gym almost everyday if not twice a day. But never do legs or cardio. This program I am about to start will force me to take the next step which is cardio and legs. So I think your right. I will lower the dose but also man up and enjoy the results. It will probably only hurt hurt for the first month then im sure it will be like training any other muscle.... With anyluck I will have a even better profile pic in 4 months. Thanks for the advice and motivation bros...
 
I wan't suggesting the ketosis to aid in fat loss at all... I was merely giving a suggestion to hinder the pump a little... part of the way that aas increases pump is through NOS... NOS is diminished with lack of insulin... so there's one way it will help diminish aas pump.. but also, due to the fact that most glycogen in the body has been consumed by the time you are nearing ketosis(no glycogen pump).... there isn't really a way to completely rid the pump from aas, but it is possible to diminish it to a tolerable level...

that, and requiring less o2 to complete the drills makes things a little easier(at least for those who don't have tons of conditioning)

keto means basically NO carbs, supposed to be awful lmao. All (or the vast majority, I'm not sure exactly) of your cals will come from proteins and fats.

I don't doubt it has it's benefits but it's not something I look forward to trying

90% of people can't follow a Keto diet. It play's with your head being carb deprived. If the OP doesn't have the will power to train leg's then he probably doesn't have the will power to stick to a keto diet either.

it does suck!!! i hate to do it, i don't need to diet wise(i was on 4000+ for my comp diets carb cycling) but it would be good for those pumps....depending, really, on how long and how many times you have to do the drill(I'm guessing you are getting firefighter cert or something similar... not that I need to know)... but if it was just a month of drills or something it wouldn't be too bad..
you can actually still eat carbs(to a degree)... most bodybuilders with a reasonable amt of muscle, decent metabolism, and fairly active could still hit ketosis in 4 days on 100-120g carbs for first 2-3days, then down to 50-75 for day 3 and 4........and, of course, eca and things like that would help....

I have had to go a yr or more at a time without being able to significantly train my legs due to back problems.... not saying that's the case, but we don't know... he's just wanting some info to be able to achieve something he is wanting to do.... so let's be supportive of that at least.....

I have done the little to no carb thing and the results where amazing.... I also hated my life and was almost to skinny.. LOL. It's not that I can't do it cuz I have done the low carb thing. But it freaking sucks. I'm not that dedicated these days. As far as the legs go there won't be an option. It will be running and cardio min of 4 times a week forced PT. I think we got it figured out I will low the dose reach down grab my balls and go to work. Once the intial shock and aw is over I'm sure my leg muscles will welcome the pump just as my upper body does. Then I can up the dose again ;-)

yeah it makes no sense to be on a huge dose if that's what your doing. (lot's of running) If I were you just lower to 100/wk during your camp and be done with it.

this is not the subject of the thread but : football is only in the US and it is a very mild compared to soccer ...what they run 5 minutes each during the whole game? no stamina is required at all no cardio at all any fat pig can play it ...sorry i like football but that is true..very undemanding both physically and mentally.
and judo ( not karate) is the basics of all martial art and the most demanding one both mentally and stamina...you should have excellent cardio condition..since this thread is about cardio ...isn't it?

Okay, I'm by no means siding with bjg... AT ALL! But you guys shouldn't bash soccer. Its one of the hardest sports to play as the coordination required to perform some of the moves and knowing where and how to strike the ball to make it dance or drop is harder than throwing a knuckle ball, catching a 40 yard pass, or shooting a 3 pointer. I was a 4 sport athlete in high school, soccer by far is the hardest as its pretty much nonstop running for.

Now, with that being said... bjg your full of shit!! Your kids strike can't break someones arm!! One of the best strikers in the world has had his direct strike clocked at a little over 100 MPH and I've seen that smash goalkeepers in the arm and they are fine! So cut your fuckig shit! Oh, and if you or your son DID play soccer you wouldn't know there is no "centerfield" position! Its called midfield, there is a right, center, and left midfield position!

Please take your ignorant self bavk over to the natty section as many have requested, and before you start talking about how great a "soccer player" your kid is you might wanna make sure you know what your talking about... k? Thanks!
 
.... I'm about to start a "program" where there will be alot of running and star climbing. (forced not a option) should I lower my normal dose to avoid not being able to complete the work outs? Or just quick being a bitch and tuff it out? .....

...just started a cycle of test-p currenly doing 75 a day so it's already a little less then my last cycle. Should I lower it or keep it the same and hope the pumps get more tolerable?

autodad, there has been some good advice in this thread and you will need to decide what you will take and not. I would just like to add some things that have not been said yet.

1. Take a teaspoon of baking soda every morning and every night. It does help.

2. The test P is good but not overly needed. It will help with endurance if you don't take too much. Take too much you will gain more muscle mass that you need for any cardio work especially running and stairs. (I do up to 250 flights of stairs, up and down, every other day) I use 175 mg Test P per week. It helps a lot.

3. You may also try riding a bike sometime in training. It will help your calves loosen up and gain more endurance.

4. One last thing that really helps me a lot is toe raises. Be sure to really tighten your calves, and entire back of legs and your butt. Hold it when raised for a few seconds longer than most say is needed. It will hurt at first but that just shows you are doing it right.

BTW, besides the test p I have found that low dose mast and NPP helps a lot.

tallguy please you are american so don't teach me football (soccer) the name is FOOTBALL by the way.....and i used centerfield because i translate it from french and that is the word we use ....so again and i was making a point about cardio and stamina when i talked about FOOTBALL ...since cardio is the subject of this thread right????and gave an example maybe a bit exaggerate it to make a point....and yes my son can break your arms as he clocks no less than the pros .....hitting the ball hard is not a big deal it is not the point of the game....as for you before talking to me ..go learn some manners
