its been a while for me too, before i got my size back i would hit 88's pretty consistent. Got all new callaways fitted to me then i got into bodybuilding lol and they have been collecting dust. I will go play with my uncle at pebble beach and some nice places like that. He gets free 4 somes there because he owns the company that built their pools. But other then that my games in the 100's now lol and i need to learn how to drive again with all this damn bulk.
 
88 is a great score Jay. I've been playing for a long time. I played all four years in high school and was #1 player, mvp all four years, was all-area all four years, won the county championship my sophomore year and shot 76 at districts while only picking up the game 10 months earlier my freshman year. i had several colleges recruit me but i went thru a phase where partying was more important than practicing and my scores suffered my junior and senior years. I usually carry a 2 handicap thru the USGA but I don't play as much and with putting on muscle, my swing is completely different. I shot 70 a year ago at one of the courses they hold the PGA players ability test. One eagle, three birdies and three bogeys with three, 3-putts. I tried to qualify for the state championship last year but I had a terrible front nine, shot 42 then got it together on the back nine. I was even on the back then I tried going for the green in two on the last hole which is a Par 5 and ended up making a double and ended up shooting 80. I always thought I would have a career in golf either as a GM or head pro but learned there's not much money in it and took a different route. I wasn't good enough to make the tour unfortunately. You basically need to make golf your life to reach that level and need sponsorships, a large trust fund, generous parents or just a lot of money where you can focus solely on golf.

But 88 really is a great score bro. 80+% of golfers don't break 100 and even less break 90 so you're in the top 90 percentile. I've worked at courses with members like Ernie Els, Anika Sorenstam, Nick Price, Ty Tryon, Dr. J, and David Ledbetter has his academy there but moved it. It's actually part of the Tavist Stock tourney. The sister course is Isleworth which is where Tiger hit the fire hydrant and lots of celebrities love like shaq, Wesley Snipes, Mark O'Meara, and others live.

Sorry, I'm drunk and just rambling. I honestly hate my handle on here but I've had it for a long time and most people know me b/c I suppose it stands out. Not many BBers golf lol. I know Iron Addict is a golfer too. We've chatted via PM and he's actually a good golfer too. One of the reasons I don't want to get too bulky is b/c I lose a lot of flexibility and can barely swing a club and actually lose distance. I also train BJJ and Muay Thai and I've noticed a big difference in offense and defense when I am heavier. I also work in a profession where I deal with a lot of bankers, judges and lawyers and the last thing I need is to be that is clearly on gear and be judged. I actually got accused today of using gear by an associate. I'm not a good liar so I try to avoid the accusations. Again, sorry for the rant. I'm drunk!!!

I think ill be investing a large chunk of change on the TPA and drol for my fall bulk up. The TPA has to be one of the nicest gears I've pinned. It's great to keep levels stable and reduce any sides. Num num!!

You talk about drunk like its a bad thing????? It's a holiday weekend! Anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed your post. This is who you are, and where you are coming from, and it was nice getting to know some of your history. I've golfed just enough to be dangerous, but I do understand the 'addiction'. That is sort of why I never got too serious about it...... I already have too many addictions!
