Airplane race

I have seen every type of race on television, cars, people even animals. What about airplane race? You could blimps so they would know where to turn or if it is in the night they could put those strong lights. Everyone could watch it because well it would be quite large track but they would probably not allow it over towns though. Maybe over a desert so it would be more safe. Would you watch it?
