I,m used to feeling like an Aplha Male at the gym. Im extremely cool and polite to people at the gym as well as my personal life. I guess what Im saying is even though I feel like anAlpha Male while training, im not a douche bag or dick.
Anyways, Over the last two months Ive only been able two train a few times. This is due to minor injury followed by a 25 day flu. Ive lost 22lbs. I went back to my gym today, and a few people were like, Dam Bro, what the hell happened, Im not used to that. My strength has dropped drastically, and Ive lost my stamania and cardio. I could only train for about 20 min. My strength is still out the window. I attribute this mainly from my flu. I felt like a newbie today. This was a feeling Ive never experienced before.
I see dudes there, that I used to make look small. I cant lie it was pissing me off. If I was to give advice to a friend who was telling me this, I would tell him... Loook man, youve been sick, and not really eating, plus you took about two months off. I would say you will be back to normal no time soon, the break was actually beneficial to your joints and health, muscle has memory. dont sweat it just use this as a flame to really focus and get your self back on point....
Its hard to take your own advice... In a way it lit a fire under my ass. I guess everything happens for a reason....
