Someone mentioned the wraps help stabilize injured wrists and fingers - in this case it appears to exaggerate the arse clown factor
I use wrist straps almost all heavy work. I have some damaged ligaments in my left hand that makes my ring and pinky fingers dislocate easily. I used to use straps after I would dislocate a finger cause your hand feels kinda weak after you dislocate a finger and put it back in. And then I never really got the faith back in the hand. I just feel safer with them on when I'm playing with dangerous weights. It's a confidence thing. Maybe one day ill grow a pair and go without. Then again at the rate of my abuse I don't think my nuts will ever be anything but small.
