I am looking for another protein besides Whey, soy or egg. I have trouble digesting these proteins.
I have tried rice / pea blends and they seem to be OK
Plain rice protein blows! Like drinking sand!
Xymogen has a good tasting blend but it costs a fortune 300.00 a month
definatly not worth it
thinking about trying casein.
What happened to Bulk Nutrition. They don't sell any bulk products anymore? They used to carry NOW foods Vegan Protein and they said that it would be a long time before they got ANY Now foods products.

what is the deal with BN?

Any ideas for sourcing Casein or other proteins at reasonable prices?

bn is failing as a company, id avoid them. have you tried that beef protein?

Olympina Labs Beef Protein has a warning on the label.

Notice to California residents. This product contains a chemical known in the State of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm. \

Melamine?

I guess you better not use this stuff in California!

What do you eat with the 3 protiens you have trouble with? Have you been to a doctor to see if there may be a digestive health issue? Would it be possible for you to focus on a food source instead of a powder? For example can you drink milk or eat eggs? These are both very reasonable in price.

yea ive looked into the beef protein to change it up but it is expensive

I have had some testing done as far as food sensitivities. The big eight were hit pretty hard. I did a cleans diet for 28 days avoiding all of the listed products and felt much better
The biggest reactions were Yeast, Wheat, Milk, eggs
I didn't hold much promise in the testing until I quit eating the top 4.
and I felt much better.

Right now I eat mostly chicken beef and fish for protein. I am carb cycling. I like the shakes for something sweet as a snack

I was thinking about your response and I looked over my list of food sensitivites and Milk was listed whey and Caseins make up the proteins in milk. When cheese is made most of the whey is removed from the cheese.

I was looking over the list and I saw that Cheese was not reactive.

After some research most of the proteins left in cheese are caseins.

I am going to get some Casein protein today and try it.

Thanks for the help
