Andy Bolton the man with the 1008lbs deadlift, talks about grip training

Fat bar partial deadlifts are really great for training grip. I did those for a while, definitely improved my deadlift grip.

Hey Fu, its started to become an issue with me on my deads so started to become more aware when articles pop up about grip training. I know Gazhole also has some good stuff on his website getlifting.info:

Another thing Fu, im going to try out sumo deads next week in the hope it takes a little pressure off the lower back and get a bit more leg work, you ever tried these?

Yeah, I primarily pull sumo style for deadlifts. My main advice would be to widen your stance slowly over the weeks. Don't go too wide from the get-go.
