^That has got to be one of the most moronic posts I have seen on this website.

I mean, the fact you put Sassy in brackets, given that shes the original and only poster, just sets it up so perfectly.

Hopefully it's a joke.

going to try the over 40 ny championships next yr. have competed before. imo

I'm 5'9", 195lbs and 45 yrs old. I started hitting the gym 3-5 x week 2 hrs a day starting in Jan 2010 after a 5 way bypass. I figured this was an opportunity to get off the couch and start taking care of myself. With improved dieting (not strict or 100% healthy) and training I lost 4 inches off my waist and went from 218 down to 187lbs. I've done one 6 week cycle of 1-Andro/Anabolic Matrix and currently at 195lbs. I can start to see my abs/obliques and the more I see the more I want to train. I've thought about competing or at least being in competition shape within 3-5 years. I don't have the willpower to do strict/clean dieting yet so I'm hoping my gym workouts and cardio will compensate for now. I'm not sure if that's what I should be looking forward to as I head towards my fifties but I like working out and seeing the improvements in my body is addicting and confidence boosting.

Haha.

Boys trying to get their cocks wet can be so hysterical at times.

Last night out at the bar, some guy came over to one of my girlfriends and started talking about how he's a big runner. Well I caught him in a lie because my girlfriend is running the mini marathon in Chicago and called him on it, which he immediately left and gave us all a big laugh.

LOL -- you guys are funny. I appreciate when I get a nice compliment, but I compete strictly for myself and probably to deal w/ a life-long complex about always being the "big girl" w/ the extra 10 lb. I finally decided, fine, You want big? I'll show ya big! But in fact, its not even about getting big. I don't want to get hyuge and don't necessarily aspire to a pro card. I hate being 190 lb off season - that just means I got fat.

These days, I gotta pay more attention to good quality gains and strict form. I have enough wear & tear that I can't lift just to see what I can push. Its more like what can I lift w/o my knees tweaking out on me or w/o my shoulder flaring up. And lean gains in the off-season so I don't have to drop 30 lb for a show.

And lastly, just having a show to focus on and keep some structure in my life. The gym is ohhhh, so much cheaper than a therapist! And the best part, you'd never guess my real age if I didn't tell ya :)

I am, but the training program is weird. Been on the vera De milo routine for a few months.
