For those of you who say there is no such thing as a dumb question.... :hmmm:

Does anybody pre-mix a few containers of protein shakes ahead of time and put them in the fridge?

Same question for those who make creatine shakes.

I've never thought of that, but it looks like the powder may settle in the bottom of the container. You try it and tell us how it works.

I tried it and it became a pain in the ass. I fork out the extra couple bucks for the RTD's for PWO.

I put whey and dextrose in a blender in the morning, pour it into a glass jar, refriderate until I go to the gym at lunch and shake until I cant see the stuff that was stuck on the bottom.

Creatine no. It isn't stable in a liquid.

I will occasionaly pre-mix just one, throw it in the fridge pre work out (leaving in the blender container) so I can just throw it back on the blender for a second and chug when I'm ready

Most of the time no though

I guess I am just wondering if pre-mixing decreases the effectiveness
of the product (protein or creatine) aside from the "settling" issue.

IOW, if I pre-mix my creatine in water and keep it in the fridge for
a day or two, will it still be the same? How about with whey & water?
