cool, thanks for the ordering tip...

Barnes & Noble carries the 1st and 2nd editions of Muscle Mechanics by Everett Aaberg. The 2nd edition is available at humankinetics.com.

Looks like a good read, pretty informative, with lots of information.

Has anyone purchased this book, and if so, what do you think about it?

I never read it.

I used my discount to get CHU's plyometrics book. It is a good one.

I have read sports power (also a human kinetics book) by dave sandler. defenitly worth it for anyone interested in that sort of thing.

Harvey Newton's Explosive Lifting for sports is a good one too from Human kinetics. It is all about olympic lifting. I recommend that one as well. If you have some extra money the video supplement that goes with the book is really informative as well.

Thanks for the replies fellas:

Those books look great; each author has an impressive 'resume' too. I'll definitely be getting those in the near future, with Explosive Lifting at the top of the list.

Cool. :thumb:

Picked up Muscle Mechanics last night at Barnes & Noble; I was there (again) so I snagged it...couldn't help myself.

I just bought the Zatsiorsky book and Sport Mechanics. The Zatsiorsky book doesn't get that discount for some reason.

The best book is Science and Principles of Strength training.

I have never seen Sports Mechanics. Some trainer at my gym said he has it and that it is to hard to understand??

That is the one I got. I am hoping that my ergo experience will help with the sport mechanics book.
