Are sugary sweet cereals good for post workout drinks?

I know we need high glycemic carbs after a workout. I wanna know if Lucky Charms, Cocoa Puffs, Apple Jacks and all the other bad stuff is okay after I am done working out. Reason for this question is that I am tired of dumping dextrose/malto in my drink. I want some Froot Loops dammit!!!!!!!!:hot:
 
i put quaker cornsquares in mine... there not super high in sugar, but are definately not clean. i know some people put oats, but the high sugar cereal would give you a solid spike.

i'd give'r a try, probibly not a huge difference then the dextrose.
