hey guys. been training for about nine months now, and have seen pretty good gains all around. im 6'1, 175. problem is i have long ass arms, and putting mass on has been really hard. any advice on helping them grow? or am i just stuck with long arms and have to man up and wait it out?

has that been successful for you? that would require me to completely change my workout. do you do three days a week of arms?? what does the split look like

I personally work an upper lower split. I go to the gym every other day. I do arms at the end of upper day after compounds. I do everything in push and pull supersets for upper. I squeeze a lot in this way in an hour or so. That's me. It's pretty harsh but you can give it a try if you like. I stick to that but exercises and reps are changed when things get stale.

You do whatever you want with the information provided and find out what works for YOU. YOU have to change something too.

Totally not true

thats what ive always thought. but my slow growth is making me think twice about it. my current split is chest/triceps, back/biceps, shoulders/traps, and legs with abs done twice a week. should i just focus on high weight low reps, or cmpd movements, or isolation? sorry im still a newb haha

yeah i think the dude is right, u need an arm day if ur arms aint growing.

I know I'm new round here, but is it possible that in your quest to see arm gains you are overtraining the motion?

Not true mate. Keep changing up the exercises and angles of curling/pushing.
that is good 2 but you have to have an arms day if you want big arms all the best bodybuilders have one

I don't know about the isolation workouts. I think if you want to see your true genetic muscle growth... you need to increase the intensity of your total body workouts... make sure you eat enough good quality proteins, fats and carbs... and give yourself a lot of rest... because that is when the muscles in your body grow...

i was always a hard gainer in the arms and i had an arm day. i changed it up and just focused on my compound movements, and at the end of the workout do one exercise of three sets for bicep or tri which ever day it is, and i finally see a difference in my arms. just me though. i say try different things for awhile and see what works for YOUR body. do a little trial and error, and see what works for you. what works for me or the next guy will not necessarily work for you.
