Article on intervals on a treadmill

"allowing your body to burn additional fight." - huh?
"in order for it to be considered interval training the intensity and on certain occasions vary the incline" - huh?
"Some include types of interval training on a treadmill include:" - straight from the department of redundancy department.
"followed by your all out spring for 10-20 seconds" - spring?

I quit there.

NO ONE will take your advice very seriously on the internet if you don't write well, clearly, and grammatically correctly. The thinking goes: "If their writing is so bad, how good can their advice be?"

Put some polish on your writing, there seem to be a few good bits of wisdom in there, but they're overshadowed by the poor writing.

Haven't read your article yet I will after i post, probably should be the other way around though. However I am an interval training, specificaly running fan. I had stopped lifting for quite some time due to personal life "issues" then followed up with a deployment and topped off with a year of a shit show diet..Basically "celebrated" for a year after we returned state side. Long story short I put on a ton of shit weight so come this past December I decided it was time to unfuck myself and get back to weights, but wanted to shed as much beer/pizza fat as possible and sprung for a purchase of a treadmill. I figured out my maint. cals at about 2300(ish) to hang out and not lose anything nor gain and enjoy my fatness; I dropped it to 1800 and incorporated interval training on top of it via running on the treadmill. Ran 6 intervals covering about 2.25miles by the time it was said and done and was wrapped up in 18min- and that was walking 1 minute every 3rd minute. I only did it 3 times a week and from roughly Jan 1st to April 1st I dropped 25lbs on the head. Point being its very effective with a cal defict diet, what I did isn't text book "HIIT" because there is some "pacing" involved to run a minute straight then up it again for the second minute-but I was picking speeds that were up there enough that I couldn't wait for that second minute to end, where HIIT is balls out no pacing in which anyone short of a phenom isn't coing to make it a minute-if they're truely going at their max, much less up it more for a second minute so I'll call what I did just "IIT."
