My wife's first shot ever, 9mm glock, 7 yards. I told her she missed. Said she didn't. Brought target in; DEAD center in bullseye (couldn't see as bull was black). As posted above, I teach NRA women's pistol classes. They definitely take the information in better than the guys. At the end of the training sessions, I let the gals do a free form shooting. In other words, just shoot up a silhouette target for fun. Without an exception, every single time, there will be a high percentage of targets with a big hole right where the balls should be. Women are evil.

it's called a Davey Cricket and is supposed to be a kid's first gun. She said it's tiny and really fun to shoot. a lot less kick than her 12 gauge.

the stupid hoarders have fucked it up for all of us that live in a reality based world. AR parts have increased 2-4x in months depending on the part. was up in Jacksonville at a gunshow on Saturday and there was hardly any ammo there.

the parts for my girls upper is already at about 800 and that's w/o the free float and iron sights, picked them out just haven't ordered them yet. the good thing is that the M203 will fit nice on this one also.

Right now, you may want to back off on the build until this stuff calms down. My buddy has been looking for an AR barrel. The prices have jumped from $150 to almost $300. The less than reputable sellers on the gun auction sites are asking and getting $200 over MSRP for a run of the mill Bushmaster barrel.

A couple weeks ago I saw on CDNN they had a stripped lower for $1200. Don't know if they still have it that high but I doubt I will be doing any business with them in the future if they are going to gouge like that.

I got a Spike's 16" milspec M4 LE barrel from for $350...LOL

it's a "nice" barrel but not that nice..

yea this hoarding shit has got to go! since I'm not working anymore I'm bored to death so waiting isn't going to work right now. i've got all the parts for my upper except my BCM charging handle. I'll post picks of it when I'm done, hopefully this weekend.

What LAM said is legit, I saw it also. Somehow CDNN got a hold of Wilson Combat AR lower serial number 1 and 2. Doesn't look like they sold them, they are still up for sale.

the upper is from Spikes also
the BCG is from Bravo
charging handle is the BCM gunfighter
the red dot is a EoTech knock off
BUIS are Magpul MBUS Gen 2's
rail is a 13" Troy
the foregrip is a Magpul - AFG2
the light is a Olight M21 warrior (500 lumens)

not really sure but I think all of that was around $1,200 and right around 5.4lbs total installed.
