hows every1 doin? as the title says im tommy and im from chicago (northside). i joined this forum because it seems like a great source of information and it seems people actually enjoy helping 1 another. im 20yrs old, 207lbs and about 5' 8 1/2. if i wasnt born with a very muscular build i would probly be the weakest man alive. i never consistanly lifted throughout high school and i was still showing up the rest of the football team in the weight room. well i broke my ankle last year and gained about 40lbs which put me up at 260
i got sick of this real quick and i put myself on a healthy diet and ne1 whos ever visited chicago knows that with the great greasy food we have here its almost impossible (best food in the world) but i did it and that did the trick. after about 4-5 months i lost about 55lbs. i feel great. i cant see where i might have lost any muscle but from what ive been reading lately i guess i must have although i never cut my cals that low, it was more of just eating right. i completely cut out any processed sugars, replaced pop- even diet pop with green tea. i pretty much only snack on fruits. now i recently bought tom venuto. very informative. he suggests a 3-4 day break on my diet. so ive had a few of the things ive missed throughout the past few months. my break is going to last until my accu-measure calipers arrive in the mail. i honestly feel great and i never plan on getting off the healthy eating bit. i thought it would be hard to do, but its been so easy ive amazed myself. rarely am i even tempted to eat what i shouldnt and even when i am tempted i dont. any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.
