I started weights when i was 17, Lee was 15, he was in early publications like The Matrix Principal. Showing my age here, i am 42. These early days for me had guys like Mike Christian, Mike Matarazo, Porter Cotteril, Bob Paris, Mentzer, Yates, Priest, Kevin and Flex, Shawn Ray etc. These are the old school BB'ers i liked. But i was more influenced by Arnie, Franco, Draper. These days its the new guys like Kai and Evan, Frankhouser etc who will be the current younger trainee's idols or who they look up to. Imagine being young in your teens and looking up to Kai and then find out he's a grapefruit fucker. So yes i have followed body building for a long time. Jay Cutler is the best of the current crop for fan decency and current winning's.

I have been called AZZA for many years, i am 39, it's a strong name, i have it on custom plates on my Pro Streeted Ford XY wagon, i have it on art work for the car as well. These last few weeks i have had quite a few supplements with the view of reviewing more supplements for the members and guests. I am also trying to get my hands on some supps that are not spoken about much here due to having to order them from the states. A member of another site who is a female from NZ gave me some advice about my reviewing with the idea of improving on what i am doing. I always take constructive criticism even from young Lady's in NZ if it will benefit the viewers of my thread.
When i first started this thread i had a idea where i was going with it but it has gotten a lot bigger than i thought. I have relay only reviewed the tip of ever growing iceberg. It seems in America there are more and more supplements coming out every week. New brands popping up and the dollar value the consumer is putting out is huge. The other problem is the over exaggerated and unsubstantiated claims being put forth by the supp company's. What this does is a two fold thing, the first one is it overshadows the products that are our staples, the ones we become use to and depend on, whether for training or health improvements. The second one is it creates a sense of "i must try that" mentality due to the glossy add or the talk around the boards or the fact that Mr Olmpia is using it. The direction of my thread on supplements and the way i review them will stay roughly the same. I will be giving a explanation on each star rating. I will hope to review the newest supplements and give fair and just comparisons to the older supplements. I will also hope to stack a company's products for a given time if possible. Every company is looking for the new creating monohydrate and i hope to wade through all the marketing and new technologies someone has just come up with and "just try the damn product".
I hope in doing this i can assist any member or guest of this site in making some decisions about products. My own experience and knowledge will benefit you guys and gals. My star ratings will be fair and just and i do carefully think about how i rate a product. I want to be seen as a independent. The company's involved always will get a free plug for there support and cooperation and i will be posting up information from there sites whether it is correct or not. It wont be my job to test products or batch test for accuracy on labelling or purity of a product. I wont review any product i can not get all the information for my review. I want to review a product the same way as you would buy it. There is no favouritism here and no brand can buy my star ratings. It is what it is folks. If i think the product is great and give it 5 stars then so be it. With all the nutritional and product data on hand at the time of my review i can justify my ratings. There will be times when a product does not mix up or tastes like crap. If there is a valid reason for this it will reflect in my review. I hope this explains to anyone just reading my reviews understands where i am coming from and where i hope to go. I am the supplement reviewer.

I have run into a few issues trying to get some samples/product of late. I have 2 companys for various reasons and excuses have been putting me off now for a year in one case and 6 months in another. Another distributor i had a conversation with told me i shouldn't be annoying the company in the USA and had a story of some other guy who is doing/done/maybe some reviews and has a 1.5 million database of names for .....something. I felt like i was being belittled. , its more to derail myself into feeling small with what i am doing. I have emailed the parent company and informed them that this guy that distributes 5 or 6 brands does not have any of these products being sold where i live. A population of 240,000 and 2 defence force bases. Now do the maths and tell me who the real looser is. I also explained that i am a customer and people that read my reviews are potential customers. Maybe i will end up getting some samples direct from the US. Thats my vent. On another note another distributor is sending some products that should arrive next week.

Shoulders and traps. Very sore from yesterday (recovery not to good) which i like a lot. Todays workout was blitzed. 12 sets of lateral raises up and down the rack, and 4 sets of smith machine front press's up to 60kg, couple sets db upright rows. Trained today to fatigue and burn the delts. Black Powder pre workout drink worked as it did yesterday (very well). I tried asking missus to do a couple of photo's but she said ''ahh you showoff'' and declined(maybe next year lol) Just throwing back a Monster Milk shake.
