I have ran a number of cycles before, and read posts about back pump. I have never experienced this before, so I really haven't paid to much attention to what people say about it. I'm currently experiencing lower back spasms and extreme tightening. I don't believe I have done anything to injure my back, and wondering if I am experiencing back pump? Can anyone describe how back pump affected them and what u can do to get through it. Or just tough it out, which I pretty much where I am.

It is different for many folks. I get extreme back pumps on a cycle unfortunately. The people who don't get this don't understand how bad it can be. My back can lock up if I try to work through it until I have to lay down on the floor. It dissipates gradually over 30 minutes but is still sensitive. I believe it is worse if I'm holding water from eating too much salt, etc. I just don't run or do lifts that will fatigue my back. It sounds like you have an overuse injury rather than aas pumps. Try a heat pad and stay hydrated. Rest your back for a couple days.

I hated excruciating back pumps when running something like dbol in low, or high doses, or even from other gear; I swallowed like 10,000mg of effin taurine because I guess it helps regulate the amount of mineral salts in the blood or something among that nature; anyway the taurine is okay, but if youre getting back pumps with no gear, idk its gotta be the salt in your blood from your diet I guess?

Orals give me crazy back pumps, +1 for taurine, energy drink + tylenol did good for me.

Taurine @ 2-4 mg ed and a good quality intra/post workout drink mix full of potassium & magnesium & more taurine helped me. Mine happens when gh dose is high or high dose of tren. Especially bad when mix them both, fucking terrible!!! I believe its hyperplasia =cell growth.

I got REALLY bad back pumps on a EQ/Sust/Dbol cycle when I first started out.

I chalk it up to bad form + AAS pump; because I would go super low on squats to the point where my lower back rounded out. I think this kind of stress combined with increased blood flow resulted in debilitating pumps where I'd have to lie down.

Wear a belt and keep your form in check. I can't attest to the taurine as I've not had any problems since. Good luck bro!

fucking A its always the dbols for the craึzy pumps that will feel so unrealistic

3 grams per day of taurine to start, and increase up to 6g if the problem persists. You'll find the dose that alleviates it. Also, be sure to drink 1-1.5gal water daily, more depending on your work/lifestyle. Dehydration will cause it too.

This is interesting. Just out of curiosity, can you elaborate? Or anyone else?

A part of it goes back to electrolytes. While dehydrated, the muscles lack magnesium, sodium, potassium, etc. Being dehydrated also causes lactic acid buildup in the muscle, more so than usual. I've seen patients who's discs have actually moved out of place, simply due to being dehydrated. That's not at all typical of course, but I'm just saying that being well hydrated is very important for us especially.

Thanks. Makes sense.
