Should I avoid bananas if i am trying to cut? I have a banana before and after i workout.

about the pre workout i think you should avoid (i eat only low GI foods 1.5 hours before workout), post workout shake - i include bananas for taste, 80g bananas and 60g dextrose. (bananas have medium GI)

A banana immediately following your workout is ideal. However, I would replace the pre-workout banana with some oats.

Oh, then I guess the pre-wo banana is fine. As long as it fits in to your caloric breakdown for the day.

dextrose is a carbohydrate.

Banana's are fine - as long as they fit into your daily macronutrient ratio's then you should not have a problem.

If you are concerned then take out your pre-workout banana - but leave the one PWO.

Personally, while cutting I feel bananas should be left out and go with other fruits such as apples, berries, peaches, pears and grapefruit. ;)
