What BB magazines (if any) do people here subscribe to? Please list any and all "good" (useful/truthful) titles.

I like Muscular Development because they cover alot stuff other mags won't and they do without hesitation in the sense of thought.

Also, Musclemag Intl'

Sometimes I'll look at Weider's stuff, too.

I agree, it's the only one that I ever buy.

None for me anymore.

I like All natural Bodybuilding and Fitness.

It is really good if your are an all natural lifter. The articles are pretty informative.

Well for female BB mag I like Oxygen :)
But I'm sure thats not what your looking for.

I get Ironman...I love it! Occasionally I get Flex if I like the cover info. :)

Defintitely a great choice! I usually recommend that for my female clients! Also, M&F hers!

by far, hands down, the absolutely best muscle mag you can buy is Testosterone. This mag is a throwback from the old muscle media 2000 days before they went mainstream and has GREAT writers like TC luomo, Cy wilson, John Berardi and the strength coach Ian King. I swear to you guys you must check this out, It is in a league of its own. I has never once seen a pic of a proff. BB in this mag, nor have I ever seen an article entitled "bigger Bis, we show you how". It isn't filled with supp ads either. This mag tells things how they are. You can go in this mag, or their site: T-mag.com, and learn the science of the sport, whether you are a BB or power lifter, or someone that just wants to look good naked. If you haven't seen it I urge you all to check it out, you will agree! It is extremely informative. Check it out:

I can't stress enough how much I love this mag, I have learned SOOO much and continue to with every issue. If you want proof, just look in the training forum, the post entitled: what seperates us from them. Those are the kind of articles that T-mag comes up with every week!

I think most of them are a waste but I do buy them now and then...more for the entertainment value though and to keep up on the latest news! When I do buy one it's usually Muscular Development cause they say it like it is and present some interesting facts the other mags just don't touch!

Muscle Gelz Transdermals
IronMag Labs Prohormones
Each and every one of them has their strengths and weaknesses. It really depends on what you are looking for in a mag. Personally I read almost all:

-FLEX
-MD
-TESTOSTERONE
-IRONMAN
-MMI
-PLANET MUSCLE

I am now partial to MMI b/c I write for them on occasion!! LOL! Seriously though, they all offer something different.

I get Oxygen, Shape, Muscle Media, Muscle & Fitness, Muscle & Fitness Hers and a couple of others...........my research phase....will narrow it down eventually..........:)

I must agree, Testosterone is a great mag. I enjoy their website too. They have very informative articles plus some pretty funny ones written by TC.

Thanks everyone for the good info.

Ha, I love TC's Atomic Dog articles, every week I read them I and up thinking to myself that he just took the words right out of my mouth.

IMO...The only redeeming qualitites of the news stand muscle mags is the women in the swimsuit/workout sections. Seems like the majority of info provided by those mags is for guys on gear. I also like T-Mag a lot. Spend a lot of time on their site.

MuscleMedia (I like the Whole Natural take on bodybuilding in this mag)
Ironman Magazine (only buy this when the Swimsuit Issue comes out) :p

Picked up a issue of T-mag and hated it. Seem like they support Anabolic Roids to much for my taste.

I can agree there with ya but what about Men's Health Magazine?

Ironman Magazine (only buy this when the Swimsuit Issue comes out) :p
It's a great magazine and I assume you got the issue where my friend, Deeann Donovan was in quite a bit? :eyebrow: How come you don't like Muscular Development? You get a lot of the best of both worlds in it.

As much as I am a fan of Body Building my intrests don't fall into the competition aspect. Alot of the pages usually will be filled with it along with Ads. I take MuscleTech suppliments but I hate having to flip through 6-8 pages of their ad reports. For Example; if FLEX and Muscle Development had a similar article.. lets say.. Bigger Arms in 2 minutes. I would pick MD over it.

But truthfully I do agree that Muscle Development to be a good overall magazine. I occasionally pick it up at the newstands.

Religiously I pick up Muscle Media ( even though its getting Clutterd with the "Body for Life" articles.

I never picked up Mens Health, so I couldn't tell you. I guess it never caught my eye or someone put a copy of FLEX magazine over it at the stands. :)

It's a strong possibility with that someone put a Flex over the Men's Health. At least in Muscle Media you get good named people where as in Men's health magazine it's filled mostly with schmos that no one has ever heard of.

Schmos=no motivation to me

But when you see like Gunther or someone of lesser size. Now that motivation! :thumb:

Actually I like Maxim, FHM, and Stuff! Oh wait, this is about BBing magz!

My favorite is Muscle & Fitness without a doubt. My second choice would be Muscular Development lots of health facts throughout the entire magazine.

Humm,, I've never read any of them. I never even heard of FHM. Isn't Maxim the name of a Condom? :D

Dreadlox - I think you need to read a little more of what they say. They are very anti-steroid with anyone that hasn't been training for a long time and has absolutely no knowledge of the stuff.

I think t-mag is excellent. (I don't take the real t stuff personally, I find it more amusing then anything) The research and the obvious experience from these writers is some of the best I've read. I really have gotten some great information from this site.

I like M&F hers but what I don't get is who in the hell do they get for the recipe/nutrition sections sometimes. Some of that crap I would never make or eat.

The only one I consider buying is Planet Muscle!
