what's better .... t-bar rows or barbell bent over rows ??

in if the answer is (both are fine) so what's the difference between them ... should i alternate between them in my workouts or just choose what's convenient for me??

Id go with BB Rows. I just think theyre one of the best pull exercises you can do.

Barbell rows require more stabilizer muscles and you aren't moving on a fixed plane of motion. Quantifying one as better is kind of silly when talking bodybuilding. Use both every so often. They are both effective movements.

Hey cowpimp, I was checking out ur pictures... nice job! you really lost a lot of weight. I was wondering though, you had some extra skin on your lower abs... did you get surgery for it?

I'm not as lean as I was in my last pictures though. Maybe you saw my picture from a year or two ago?

No surgery. Just a solid diet and high activity levels.

I hate BB Bent Over Rows- I think DB rows are best or T-Bar (but I never tried them) as long as you are supported by something such as a bench when doing DB Bent over rows.

BB Bent Over Rows.

Just to chime in, I much prefer bent rows. However, I have done t-bar rows too; I found it an effective movement for strengthening my back and I would definitely do them again at some point.

please dont say that.... I used to hate them s a beginner but once I got the form down I fell in love. You MUST learn to love to row!:thumb:

BOW's, like squats, are my first choice, and usually find a spot in my programs. As always though, other lifts can be useful from time to time as much for a mental change than anything physical.

I have done T-Bar rows in the past and would do them again.

I like T-bar rows now and then, but the the ROM of bent rows is better.
