I've never been too big as far as leafy veggies go. I centered mostly on protein and various carbs as my staple to build muscle.

Here lately I've been drinking all kinds of veggie juice with my new juicer and have not felt better. Did not realize how much my body was missing until I started this.

Purple cabbage tends to be my favorite thus far:thumb:

The problem with juicing your veggies oppose to eating them is that you are missing on a very key ingredient that veggies offer..........FIBER.

Personally I get enough fiber from whole grains. I find at times that it is necessary to look for ways to reduce my fiber intake, or opt to feel very bloated and gassy.

Besides, I find the taste of vegetable juice way more palitable than vegetables in bulk.

so you're the rumored 'jodi' that i've been hearing about. some people have been pretty distressed at at your absence.

hope you'll be around, i've been reading through the bulking stickies lately, it'd be nice to run some things by you if i get stuck on something

Suit yourself but there is more to eating veggies than just drinking them. I like to make my own juice too but I make sure I eat enough of them too.

I'd hate to hear the rumors.......:mooh:

Don't worry, it was just something about ice cubes and a goat.

Oh welcome back by the way.

I thought it was something like sixty glazed doughnuts, a plastic drop cloth and a spider monkey?:hmmm:

There are better juicers out there, but for the price it is pretty functional.

own a breville 800xl(or some shit like that). it could probably juice rocks. I used it about...ONCE EVERY 4 months. Im sure its nice, mostly bought for my wife with her TMJ but it was slightly corrected. Actually going to sell it because its a 300.00+ appliance that is collecting dust. Now my vita-mix...it owns a juicer any day.

I love the revival of 3 year old thread. Juicers are great but a bitch to clean... now if I had a maid I would be all over that shit, make her ass clean it up.

Sorry this may be a dumb question, but why is the fiber lost in the veggies when you juice them?

I don't know which one but one of them(or two or three of them) had a major selling point of talking about the mesh filter's ability to "catch all of this...blah blah..." and then he'd dump out all of the pieces to show how it was great at separating the juice from the flesh. Now if you're using something like a blender to just emulsify shit then you're getting the fiber.
